China is considerng adding more anti-cancer drugs to its list of medicines eligible for medical insurance reimbursement, in an effort to reduce the burden on patients.

中國正在考慮將更多的抗癌藥加入醫(yī)療保險報銷名單，以減輕病人的負(fù)擔(dān)。

Apart from cancer drugs, medicines for rare diseases, chronic illness, children and first-aid treatment are among the options for a lengthened reimbursement list, the National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA) said in a document aimed at expanding medical insurance coverage.

國家醫(yī)療保健管理局（NHSA）在一份旨在擴(kuò)大醫(yī)療保險范圍的文件中表示，除了抗癌藥物，罕見疾病藥物，慢性病，兒童和急救治療也是延長報銷清單的選擇之一。

The candidates for inclusion should be drugs that have been launched in markets with the approval of the National Medical Products Administration before Dec. 31, 2018, said the document.

該文件稱，納入的候選人應(yīng)該是在2018年12月31日之前經(jīng)國家醫(yī)療產(chǎn)品管理局批準(zhǔn)在市場上推出的藥物。

The existing medicines for reimbursement that have been banned from production, sales and use by national drug regulators should be excluded from the list, said the document, with a new list to be released in June 2019.

該文件稱，目前已被禁止從國家藥品監(jiān)管機(jī)構(gòu)的生產(chǎn)，銷售和使用中報銷的藥品應(yīng)列入清單，新的清單將于2019年6月公布。 

In October 2018, 17 anti-cancer drugs were included in China's medical insurance reimbursement list, with their prices cut by 56.7 percent on average after a round of price negotiations between the NHSA and pharmaceutical companies.

2018年10月，中國醫(yī)療保險報銷清單中列入了17種抗癌藥物，經(jīng)過NHSA與制藥公司的一輪價格談判，其價格平均下降了56.7％。
