7月1日，《上海市生活垃圾管理條例》將正式施行。28日，上海市政府副秘書長黃融在新聞發(fā)布會上介紹，上海已基本建成覆蓋分類運輸、分類中轉(zhuǎn)至末端處置的全程信息化監(jiān)管平臺。完成1.3萬個分類投放點改造，干垃圾焚燒能力已達1.93萬噸/日，濕垃圾資源化利用能力已達到5050噸/日。

上海市教委將垃圾分類知識納入上海市初中學業(yè)水平考試，作為全市中小學“開學第一課”。全市舉辦宣傳活動1.4萬余場，發(fā)放宣傳資料1500余萬份，完成入戶宣傳680余萬戶。
