重點(diǎn)句型| Sentence Pattern

(1) There's.. (that) I highly recommend.

有....是我大力推薦的。

使用這個(gè)句型說(shuō)明自己大力推薦的物件?！癟here's 之后接名詞。"(that) 1 highly recommend是修飾主句的形容詞從旬，也就是有形容詞功能的從句。

There's a great novel (that) I highly recommend

有本很棒的小說(shuō)是我很推薦的。

.There's a printing press (that)1 highly recommend.

有家印刷廠是我很推薦的。

若要詢問(wèn)他人有無(wú)可推薦的物件時(shí)，也可以使用這個(gè)句型，只要將肯定句改為疑問(wèn)句即可。

. Are there any recent movies (that) you highly

recommend?

最近有沒(méi)有什么電影是你大力推薦的呢?

(2) How about + N/V-ing…？

你認(rèn)為...如何?

這是在提出建議時(shí)常見(jiàn)的起始句型，在一般與正式的場(chǎng)合由都可以使用。介詞about后面可以接名詞或者是動(dòng)名詞。后接名間的用法即為之前提過(guò)"How about you?" (你呢? )的用法。

.How about some water?

來(lái)點(diǎn)水怎么樣?

.How about going on a picnic this Saturday

這個(gè)星期六去野餐如何?

How about collecting some related information first?

先收集些相關(guān)資料如何?

(3) You'd better V.

你最好.....

..

had better是“最好”的意思，說(shuō)明建議做某件事是好的。句型后面只能接原形動(dòng)詞。

特別要注意的是，“You'd better..." 因?yàn)閹в忻畹目跉猓圆⒉贿m用于正式場(chǎng)合。

You'd better give Claire a call now.= You should give Claire a call now.

你最好現(xiàn)在打個(gè)電話給克萊兒。

You'd better leave now, or you'll be late for the party.= You should leave now, or you'll be late for the party.你最好現(xiàn)在離開(kāi)，否則你就趕不上派對(duì)了。

如同上面的例句，在表示“現(xiàn)在最好、應(yīng)該”時(shí)，had better也可以用should 代替。但是若要表示“一般說(shuō)來(lái)做某事是恰當(dāng)、應(yīng)該”時(shí)，要注意只能用should 而不能用had better。

You should always drive carefully.

你開(kāi)車總是應(yīng)該要小心點(diǎn)。

14) I suggest-/May I suggest..?

我建議....我可以建議...嗎?

Suggest后面可以接動(dòng)名詞或是以that引導(dǎo)的從句，來(lái)表示建議的事項(xiàng)。在接that從句時(shí)，不論時(shí)態(tài)如何，從句里的動(dòng)詞都要用原形動(dòng)詞。此外，suggest后面不接賓語(yǔ)。

.I suggest that we arrange a second round of interviews.

= I suggest (our) arranging a second round of interviews.

我建議我們安排第二次面試。

The staff at customer services suggested that I talk to the manager.

=The staff at customer services suggested(my) talking to the manager.

客服部的人員建議我和經(jīng)理談?wù)劇?/p>

也可以利用提問(wèn)的方式，來(lái)表示較客氣的提議。

May | suggest that we wait for the quotation before we jump to any conclusions

=May I suggest(our) waiting for the quotation before we jump conclusion?

我可以建議在下結(jié)論之前先等報(bào)價(jià)單嗎?

此外，還可以利用之前介紹過(guò)的would like來(lái)表示自己想要提出某項(xiàng)建議。

I'd like to suggest that we hold a welcome party for our new staff members next Friday night.

我想要建議我們?cè)谙轮芪宓耐砩蠟樾聛?lái)的職員舉辦一個(gè)迎新派對(duì)。

I'd like to suggest that you send the brochure to us before the meeting.

我想要建議您在會(huì)議前先將冊(cè)子寄給我們。

(5) I'd like to propose (that)/N/V-ing…

我想建議、提議.....

這是結(jié)合了would like而提出建議的表現(xiàn)句型。Propose和suggest一樣，后面可以接that引導(dǎo)的從句或是動(dòng)名詞，that從句中的動(dòng)詞要用原形動(dòng)詞。Propose有時(shí)也可以承接名詞，但不接不定式。

I'd like to propose (that) we arrange a factory tour for our new clients.

我想建議我們?yōu)樾驴蛻魝儼才乓惶斯S之行。

. I'd like to propose a conference call next Tuesday.

我想提議在下周二舉行電話會(huì)議。

. I'd like to propose taking part in the trade fair this year.

我想建議我們今年參加商展。
